Murphs Rugby Football Club (MRFC) is built upon the extraordinary legacies of two American heroes: Audie Murphy (the most decorated U.S. combat soldier of WWII) and LT Michael P. Murphy (a U.S. Navy SEAL Medal of Honor recipient). Our name and spirit embody their courage, leadership, and selflessness.

It is a unique point of pride that Audie Murphy’s incredible, real-life valor served as the primary inspiration for the comic book character Captain America. We channel this spirit of determination and heroism into every practice and match, committed to instilling the same courage in our players, both on the field and within the Greenville community.
